How Our Referral Service Works in Charleston, SC
Roof Replacement Charleston SC is a free referral service for homeowners in Charleston, South Carolina. We take your request and pass it to one independent local roofer. That roofer does the visit, the pricing and any work. We stay out of the job itself.
Prefer to talk? Call now(843) 555-0174The Short Version
We are not a roofing contractor, and we never act like one. We don't look at roofs, price them, write contracts or touch insurance claims. What we do is narrow: hear what's going on with your roof, then hand those details to a single roofer working in the Lowcountry.
A roofer may pay us a fee for that hand-off. You never pay us anything, and no gift, credit or reward comes back to you for asking.

The Steps, in Order
- You reach out. Fill in the form or call (843) 555-0174. Share the address, the roof material and what you've noticed.
- We pass it on. Your request goes to one independent roofer covering your part of the tri-county area. Nobody else gets your details.
- The roofer calls you. It sets a time to come out, gets on the roof and looks at shingles or panels, flashing and any soft spots.
- You get a price on paper. A proper estimate spells out materials, tear-off, decking allowances, the permit and the warranty terms, line by line.
- You choose. Saying no, waiting or getting a second price are all fine.
Roofers You Can Verify
South Carolina treats roofing jobs over $500 as residential specialty contractor work, and roofers register with the SC Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (LLR). We don't check roofers for you, so run the checks yourself before you sign anything.
- Search LLR. Type the company's name into LLR's online lookup, or call the Residential Builders Commission at 803-896-4696.
- Ask for the City license. Inside City of Charleston limits the roofer also needs a City business license, and the permit form asks for both numbers.
- See the coverage. Ask for proof of liability insurance, plus workers' comp if anyone else will be on your roof.
- Read the warranties. Get the manufacturer and labor warranties in writing, and ask the roofer to register the manufacturer's one.
- Know who pulls the permit. The roofer should apply for it and book the inspections. In the Old and Historic or Old City District, talk to City preservation staff first.
- Ask about salt air. Near the water, ask which fasteners and flashing hold up best against corrosion.

Honest Boundaries
Some things we will never do, because they either aren't our role or aren't legal in South Carolina.
- No roof work. We aren't contractors, so we never offer to do a job, bid on one or sign for one.
- No deductible deals. State law bars a contractor from paying, waiving or rebating your deductible. If anyone suggests it, that's your cue to look elsewhere.
- No claim talks. Contractors can't represent you or bargain with your insurer. A roofer can photograph damage and price the repair; the claim belongs to you, your insurer, or a licensed public adjuster you hire.
- No door knocking. We work online and by phone only, with no yard signs, flyers or visits to your street.
- No pressure. No deadlines or "today only" talk from us.
